We are excited to share the following projects being worked on in 2015:
Alvin High School No .3 – Pearland, Texas New three-story 470,000 SF high school for Alvin Independent School District. This high school campus will house approximately 2,500 students. This project starts with a three story open concept student union and entry and then continues with associated classrooms, cafeteria, administration offices, library, college career resource center, science labs, culinary lab, weight room, performing arts center, drama room, animal science / wildlife classroom, horticulture and landscape classroom, medical clinic, band hall and practice rooms, choir lab, practice and competition gymnasiums and locker rooms, football field and press box, soccer field, track and field, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields. This project will be completed in 24 months.
Katy Elementary Schools No. 38 and No. 39 – Katy, Texas Two new elementary schools with gym, library, cafeteria, kitchen, music rooms, tech labs, media center, art rooms, clinic, volunteer center, special ed classrooms, classroom and administrative offices.
Frank’s Lafayette Office - Lafayette, Louisiana This is a negotiated project that consists of a new 5-story, 180,000 sf administration office in Lafayette, Louisiana. Gamma will construct the new 5-story office building in phase 1 and once completed will demo the existing 3-story building as well as all paving and a miscellaneous 1-story building. The facility will be in operation while construction is being completed.
Dickinson ISD Educational Village – League City, Texas New 219,000 square foot, two story building serving 1,400 students in elementary and middle school on a 50 acre site. It consists of a new elementary school and a new middle school but sharing common areas. The schools will incorporate classrooms, science labs, cafeterias with stages, library, kitchen, music, band and drama rooms, art rooms, administrative offices, clinic and 2 gymnasiums and covered play areas.
Kelsey-Seybold Flagship Main Campus Renovations – Houston, Texas The 2015-2016 renovations to the Kelsey-Seybold’s flagship Main Campus will include a completed renovation of the Ambulatory Surgery Center and Endoscopy Center, a new cardiology lab and nuclear medicine suite, expansions to the pharmacy and laboratory, and build out of CT diagnostic space. This project will also open up the waiting area on the first floor, allowing natural light to flow into the area.
With this project, Gamma Construction will have renovated a significant portion of the Main Campus. Earlier projects included renovations in the following departments: Dermatology; Allergy; Urology; Pulmonology; Research Foundation; Administration; and IV Therapy.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Katy – Katy, Texas New two-story 36,400 SF Medical Office for the nation's first accountable care organization certified by NCQA, located on Westpark Tollway and the Grand Parkway near Katy, Texas. Designed to house 16 physicians in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, orthopedics, dermatology and other specialties. Includes a pharmacy, clinical laboratory, two x-ray rooms, and space for additional ancillary services. The front entry will feature an open two-story rotunda area, and the wait areas will feature an abundance of natural light. Gamma is scheduled to complete this project in nine months on a construction manager at risk basis.
Upon completion of this project, Gamma will have delivered 350,000 sf of new medical office space to Kelsey-Seybold over a two-year period.
Alvin ISD Bill Hasse Elementary School – Alvin, Texas This project will be a new 96,000 square foot, one story building replacement school for 800 students in Pre K thru 5th grade. It consists of new classrooms, science labs, cafeteria with stage, library, kitchen, music room, administrative offices, clinic and gym.
City of Tomball Fire Station – Tomball, Texas New 12,000 square foot fire station with 6 apparatus bays, dorm rooms, day room, kitchen and pantries, day room, gear rooms, offices, EMS and weight room.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Sienna Plantation – Missouri City, Texas New 23,800 SF Medical Office for the nation's first accountable care organization certified by NCQA, located near the Sienna Plantation and Riverstone communities. The one-story clinic, scheduled to open in August of 2016, will be located at 7010 Highway 6, Missouri City, near the Oilfield Road/Lake Olympia Parkway intersection. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Sienna Plantation will offer services in eight medical specialties and accommodate 12 physicians and their staff. In addition to medical services, patients will have the convenience of onsite pharmacy, lab, X-ray and diagnostics.
New Caney ISD 2012 Bond Projects – New Caney, Texas. This is a CM at Risk process for the bond program at New Caney ISD. The bond will be voted on in May of this year. It is to include a new middle school, new elementary school, new and renovations to stadium, additions and renovations to New Caney High School and the Annex, classroom additions to four existing elementary schools, renovate and expand the existing Ag Barn to become an educational Agriculture Science Center, additions and renovations to Keefer Crossing Middle School, various kitchen, electrical and roofing updates, renovations to the 6th Grade Campus, expand the Child Nutrition Warehouse and add additional bus parking spaces at the Transportation Department.
New Caney ISD Child Nutrition Center – New Caney, Texas 3,000 SF addition to existing child nutrition center for additional food storage.
Schomp Mini Cooper / Honda – Highland Ranch, Colorado New 141,000 SF Mini Cooper / Honda dealership including site improvement amenities, car wash and 8 acres of paving.
